Since 2002 I have been painting on silk. At first it was scarves, table-clothes, pictures, pillows. Then I began with fashion creation, lady’s and children clothes, blouses, skirts and other. I can tell that this noble material and its colours charmed me. It’s interested how you can harmonize designs, even colour realization, fashion according to own image. All models are sewed from pure nature silk, that is painted or partly batik and differently sculptured to final version. The work with this material is hard, because silk is very soft and during painting we have to fix it on frames. It’s necessary to care for maximal precision during cutting and sewed didn’t skew. After painting we have to fix silk. Clear line and simply fashion dominate in my models, so more complicated and time-consuming versions. This is my hobby, that brings me excellent relax.
